Dear friend,

My name is Valentina Angelino. I'm 16 years old. I'm not very tall and thin. I have brown eyes and brown wavy hair.

I ‘m attending the Liceo "D'Adda" High School in Varallo and I'm in the third year. My subjects are: English, German, French, Latin, Italian, History of Art, Philosophy, Phisical Education and others more.

In my class there are 19 students: 2 boys and 17 girls.

I live in Borgosesia, a small town in the north of Italy, about 15 Km far from Varallo. Borgosesia has got 15,000 inhabitants including its hamlets. There is a cinema, a theater, a swimmimg pool and some fitness centres. The shops and the department sores are good. It's a nice big town.

I live with my mother; my father lives in a hamlet of Borgosesia with my grand-parents, my uncle, my aunt and my cousin. My mother's name is Maria, she's 40 years old, she's shortish and thin, she has got brown eyes like me and blonde hair, she's very talkative and friendly, she's a clerk.

My father's name is Franco, he's 49, tall and a bit plump. He's very nice and rather shy, he works in a factory .

In my free time I go out with my friends and we usually go to the cinema. On Saturday nights we go out all together to a pub or a bar and we sometimes have a pizza before going to the disco.

I play volleyball twice a week, on Monday and on Wednesday afternoons in a gymnasium in Borgosesia.

I like swimming, playing basket and football, but I don't have much time to do all that.

I like listening to music, expecially pop and disco music.

I hope to meet you here in Italy and then to visit your school in September.
