Hello!

I’d like to tell you something about myself.

My name is Silvia . I’m eighteen years old: my birthday’ s on January 29^th.

I’m tallish, I have got blue eyes and straight fair hair. I am cheerful, reliable, nice, but lazy.

I am attending the Liceo d’Adda ( High School ) in Varallo and I’m in the 3rd year.

Varallo is a small town near the place where I live. My school is a quite old building. I’m learning German, English, French, Mathematics, Latin, and of course Italian. We don’t have any practical subjects except P.E.

I live in Borgosesia which isn’t very big, but it’s quiet and very nice. When I go out with my friends I can enjoy myself a lot there.

I live in a house with my family. My mother is 41 years old, her name is Patrizia and she is a secretary; my father is 46 years old, his name is Giuseppe and he is an accountant. My brother is 12, his name is Andrea and he is in the Scuola Media ( Junior High School ) at the moment.

I like to go to the disco once a month, as I love dancing very much. In my free time I sometimes play volleyball for the school team, I listen to music and I talk a lot with my friends on the phone.

I hope I’ll be able to have an American exchange student staying with me when you visit our school and I’m looking forward to come to West Virginia with some of my schoolmates the next school year.
