The beginning of a great adventure. A real adventure, indeed!!! We got stuck in the middle of a railroad strike. Strikes are always on the agenda in Italy ... they have affected us in the past.... and they have affected us again. We got stuck in Milan at the main railroad station. Train after train was cancelled. Finally, after almost 5 hours of waiting we got on a train to Verona. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark and were not able to visit Romeo and Juliet's Balcony and the Roman Amphitheatre.  Better luck next time!!!

We finally arrived at Verona after dark and were picked up by the parents from the ITC Rosselli.... What an adventure!!!! But we made it!
